An unconventional residential building that interprets the idea of a cocoon: floating, held by golden threads, protective. Instead of the originally intended golden shingles, an archetypal structure emerged, receding behind a deep black, non-reflective aluminium shell that draws focus to the slender supports – perceived as golden threads. The pure timber construction rests on a steel platform, combining emotional impact with structural clarity.
