Details
The project provides an operations centre for the Luxembourgish butchery cooperative Cobolux. Consisting of 3 levels of private and communal office space, it offers uninterrupted 360-degree views of its surroundings. Thus, the office spaces benefit from direct daylight throughout the working hours of the day, providing high-quality working conditions for its users. The horizontality complements the existing urban fabric, adapting with gentle moves to provide a quiet modern yet careful project.
The Jury‘s Statement
The three-story building for the Luxembourg-based butcher's cooperative Cobolux is given a sculptural aesthetic by its overhangs and strongly rounded corners that will be remembered. The fact that the building also integrates well into the surrounding cityscape simply because of its limited height is appealing.
