Details
Built in a Hampstead conservation area, this simple walled garden house is generated by inserting two bathroom volumes into the plan. This creates an inside and outside space, with entrance hall, lobby, bedroom. We constructed this very reduced and simple concept in monolithic concrete construction. This materiality gives the project an almost archaic simplicity.
The Jury‘s Statement
This detached house impresses with its minimalist design, which achieves an archaic simplicity thanks to the monolithic concrete construction. The skilful integration of two volumes creates harmonious interior and exterior spaces that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
