Details
St. Peter's City Cemetery's Hall of Consecration defines a zone between farewell and hope. Inside becomes outside, outside becomes inside, spatial boundaries become blurred.... The central element of the new building is the approx. 70 m2 sheltered farewell room, which can be opened to the covered forecourt depending on the size of the ceremony or the number of mourners.

With its formal clarity, the St. Peter Stadtfriedhof (St. Peter's City Cemetery) Funeral Parlor offers a timeless place whose tranquility makes it easier to say goodbye to loved ones. The combination of closed and open, but covered forecourt was solved excellently in terms of form and function.
