Details
FLAVEST KAWAGOE is a small housing subdivision consisting of four wooden houses. The surrounding area is famous for historical landmarks and its autumn foliage scenery. The concept of this project is to incorporate nature indoors. Wooden board wall and flooring are used to make residents feel like spending time in the forest. The high stacked wall helps to create a scenery in the yard, and residents can relax comfortably on the terrace without worrying about the street gaze.
The Jury‘s Statement
The cubic architecture creates a timelessly elegant and very high-quality aesthetic, which also comes into its own beautifully in the interior and creates a special feeling of space here, which is intensified by the use of wood and natural stone. The way in which the theme of autumn and the forest has been integrated into the architecture here has been achieved at a high level of design.
