Details

The new building consists of two parts, which are connected by an inner courtyard. The lower part of the building with its 12 floors merges harmoniously into the tower building with 20 floors. The light-coloured natural stone facade is slightly differentiated in its structure for the two parts of the building. The facade of the residential tower is reminiscent of classic high-rise architecture with large panoramic windows, while the facade of the base building has a more closed design.

The Jury‘s Statement

The new building, which was constructed in Berlin, comprises two building sections, one with 12 and the other with 20 floors, which makes it highly visible due to its height alone. The façade of light-colored natural stone has an elegant and high-quality appearance and underlines the demand for modern architectural aesthetics, which the project embodies in every detail.
