Details
A harmonious fusion of old and new. In order to reactivate a 1960s bungalow, instead of demolition and new construction, the atmospheric quality of the location is preserved and a new ensemble is established with an extension made of black exposed concrete. The white bungalow has been carefully updated, maintaining its character. The new bedroom with an adjoining bathroom is situated adjacent to the garden and the renovated pool. Waking up & diving in – what more could one desire?
The Jury‘s Statement
The modern annex adjoining the pool elegantly complements the property, which dates back to the 1960s. Gently integrated into the slope, the black concrete structure forms an interesting contrast to the white of the renovated bungalow.
