15 key visuals as characters were created for the “demenzworld” platform. These all interlock and form a comprehensive pattern that can be used for all measures. The "puzzle" is a familiar symbol that is often used in connection with dementia. The theme is referred to by many relatives as the metaphorical "elephant in the room", which is why elephants were chosen for the main characters.
The Jury‘s Statement
The collage of the 15 key visuals in the form of sensitively and lovingly illustrated scenarios around the different phases of dementia is a beautiful idea to give the platform an adequate identity. An impressively human and empathetic approach to a difficult topic.
