Plastmed is a highly functional clinic building in Düsseldorf's Medienhafen that rethinks architecture, design and medicine. The conversion combines maximum functionality with monument protection requirements. The iconic Gehry ensemble combines two daylight operating theatres, elegant reception areas and individually designed patient rooms with a hotel feel. Warm materials, reflections of the river Rhine and an atmospheric lighting concept create an atmosphere that combines comfort and precision. Architecture, medicine and design combine to create a holistic Plastmed experience - in one of the city's architectural landmarks.
