The sustainable "Grundner's" bakery merges traditional baking, gastronomy, and residential space in a striking industrial-style cube.
The ground floor - with glass facades and exposed concrete - is a vibrant hub featuring a show bakery with a wood-fired oven, dining, co-working, and a cultural stage, while timber-framed staff apartments are located upstairs.
The pioneering energy concept includes the KfW Efficiency House 40 Plus standard, waste heat recovery from the neighboring facility, rainwater harvesting, and large-scale PV systems with battery storage.
