Pixel fonts were created to display text on low-resolution screens or devices with limited computing power and memory. Free from these limitations, Lofi Forest offers a different perspective. Each letter consists of hundreds of individually placed pixels. Sharp lines combine with smooth gradients to create the illusion of light and shadow. This creates a chiselled look, reminiscent of inscriptions in temples or monuments. Classic letter proportions on a coarse pixel grid: an attempt to combine a sense of wonder about days gone by with excitement for things to come.
