Details
The new headquarters of the Steinbeis-Network makes maximum use of the irregular building site. The double wall façade presents exposed concrete on either side. The façade is rhythmicised by generous, identical openings. An atrium, lit from above, serves as the main vertical access with its spiral staircase. Generous glazings were used to create well-lit and clearly arranged office areas that form individual workplaces as well as places for communication and silent work.
The Jury‘s Statement
The new headquarters of the Steinbeis Network presents itself to the outside with a formally clear, timelessly elegant architecture. Inside, the friendly, bright building surprises with a large atrium lit from above, into which a spiral staircase has been integrated.
