ECHT is the magazine about Duisburg and is published by the city marketing. The city marketing brand is DUISBURG IST ECHT. The title of the magazine is also derived from this. “ECHT” (REAL) is not only the name but also the concept. All topics are told extremely authentically from the perspective of protagonists who represent the respective topic objectively and emotionally. When selecting the protagonists, it was very important to us not to show the familiar faces, the “usual suspects”, but rather to portray the unexpected faces - the real ones from the second row.
