At the centre of the concept was the forward-looking principle of urban mining: valuable materials are to be extracted from existing urban structures, such as buildings and infrastructure,e instead of being dismantled or produced again. The concept is visually realised in the striking façade of the trade fair stand, whose shredded look serves as a powerful metaphor for transformation: it impressively demonstrates how new, valuable materials can be created from old façades.

Material cycles are made impressively tangible here. »Wonderful scrap.« uses the striking shredded appearance of the facade as a powerful symbol for transformation and value preservation in the urban context. The consistent application of the urban mining principle is convincing both in design and concept. Especially within the context of an exhibition, this project stands out in an outstanding way due to its charismatic, sustainable, and aesthetically compelling presence.
