The national prevention campaign is being conducted in 4 languages and 2 phases throughout Switzerland. It raises awareness of phishing and the need for caution when using credit and debit cards for online shopping. The campaign is centred around LINDA, a fisherwoman. Each letter of her name represents a mnemonic that can be used to prevent phishing. The campaign uses striking visuals, an online quiz and banners on popular online and social media channels to generate interest. Police forces and financial institutions disseminate the campaign via their own channels. The campaign is rounded off with a national symposium for fraud specialists.
