The location of the new elevated tank, along with the design of the gabion facade and Corten steel entrance, combines aesthetic and technical requirements that align with Bamberg's status as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The landscaping takes into account ecological and historical conservation guidelines. The monolithic reinforced concrete tank has a capacity of 1,000 m³ of drinking water and is equipped with the latest electrical and plant technology, ensuring reliable water supply.

The design of the elevated drinking water tank takes into account the requirements of a UNESCO World Heritage Site and combines technical efficiency with aesthetic appeal. The harmonious integration into the landscape is enhanced by the use of Corten steel and a gabion façade, making the “Rothof-Wildensorg Bamberg elevated tank” an important element of the urban infrastructure.
