The purpose of this packaging was to renew the Alcorta wine brand (La Rioja) and to open new wine regions designations (Ribera del Duero and Rueda), by creating a dialogue with new young clients. The capital letter »A« becomes the main character of the labelling: the collection is based on Spanish adjectives starting with »A«. All of them describe the personality of its founder, Juan Alcorta: Atrevido (daring), Ágil (agile), Audaz (bold), Avanzado (advanced), Apasionado (passionate) and Abierto (open).

Statement of the jury

This beautifully designed motif interprets, in an original and creative fashion, the product’s various attributes, all of which begin with the letter »A« – thus making the bottles very distinctive.
