Designed to resemble a first-aid box, this square box-shaped building with immaculate walls has a beautiful exterior. The space inside the building is futuristic. While protecting privacy from outside view, a moderate sense of openness is ensured by using clear glass sides at the bottom of the exterior walls based on an idea inspired by yukimi shoji, a Japanese paper and wood sliding door with a glass layer on the bottom. This makes the interior space comfortable and relaxing.
Statement of the jury
The clean, purist design lends the room a distinctive identity that looks almost futuristic – an effect further enhanced by the lighting concept.
