Description

A world novelty which provides a regenerative solution for all applications where low weight, stability and ease of use are required. Regional wood is peeled into a wave-cut veneer and glued crosswise. aerowood® light consists of horizontal waves and gives the panel high flexural strength. If the waves are turned vertically, aerowood® compact is characterised by high-pressure loading and very good force dissipation.

Statement of the jury

The innovative wood-based material combines comparatively low weight with high stability. The panels are easy to process and the material – sourced from the regional timber industry – is also sustainable.
