Description

WITH:US is a level 5 fully self-driving shuttle concept. The project is proposed as a symbol of future smart cities, envisioning a public transportation system that cares about the environment and people of all ages. It has no driver seat and steering wheel. The front-to-back, left-to-right symmetrical mono-volume design provides equal comfort for all passengers. It breaks away from the traditional approach and demonstrates simplicity by leaving only the essential beauty of the basic form.

Statement of the jury

The autonomously moving shuttle serves to transport passengers, who sit opposite each other in the comfortable interior as if in a lounge. The futuristic-looking vehicle has no visible front or rear – instead, it changes direction when required without having to turn around. An interesting approach that can also be adapted to other use concepts in smart urban space.
