By picking up the characteristic blue tones of Telekom Slovenije, ruwido developed the new NEO remote control, which underlines the brand image of the company and aims to support users in simplifying their everyday lives in an inspiring way. Voice transmission allows a reduced button layout and is redefining the way people interact with their TV services. Supported by data transmission via BLE, the input device is an example of the integration between the latest technology and emotional design.

Statement of the jury

Minimal, futuristic, lustrous and state of the art, the NEO remote control outwardly represents both the contemporary needs of users and clever integration of branding constituents. High tech elements allow for voice-controlled actions, thus reducing the need for keys and related space while core functions remain as tactile intuitive controls.
