MTR Board game

Description

MTR train is the most popular transportation for HK citizens, particular for the youngsters and kids. This MTR Board Game is designed to let children play and learn together whilst introducing appropriate behaviour and safety messages for when they are commuting by MTR train in daily life. When playing the game, they can learn how to get from one station to another using different routes. There is also a reading pen, which is activated when touching the planned destination and plays the original MTR soundtrack, which makes learning easier.

Statement of the jury

Successfully uniting fun with education, the MTR board game skilfully merges traditional elements such as game pieces and cards with electronics to engage young children in play. The game also helps with their socialisation in relation to the Hong Kong metro system.
