Wildling Shoes

Description

Wildling shoes are shoes rethought. They bring children and adults closer to the original way of walking barefoot and thus bring people and the environment back together. The minimal sole with its maximum flexibility makes it possible to feel the ground; moving becomes an experience. With environmentally friendly materials like paper, hemp and salvaged wool, as well as resource-saving production techniques, we reconcile consumption with sustainability.

Statement of the jury

An environmentally conscious use of materials is well combined with a minimalist approach to production in order to create shoes that are light, roomy and tactile. An intelligent, understated sole provides both children and adults with more feeling for the surfaces on which they walk, as well as ample space for their feet within the shoes.
