Il Mare a Milano

Description

The installation »The Sea in Milan« transformed the city landscape into a hypothetical journey across the most remote seas of the planet. At the foot of the La Triennale staircase, a walkway allowed visitors to see an »au bord de la mer« projection. In the interior spaces of the foundation, a whole room is dedicated to the presentation of the numerous yachts produced by Sanlorenzo. The public arrives in these spaces by passing through an inland sea populated by unexpected marine creatures.

Statement of the jury

The turquoise-coloured ocean with its fish and sea turtles flows softly into the rooms, enters into an exciting dialogue with the architecture and creates a surreal atmosphere. A visually strong idea that emotionally attunes to the visitors at the yacht exhibition.
