Description

The project expresses the fresh, lively and dynamic personality of the new owners of the apartment, a young Neapolitan couple. That’s been achieved by configuring articulated spaces occupied by geometric and coloured elements that rest, protrude, slide or intersect with each other, identifying different functions even within the same room. Allowing a unique overall space comprehension is dispensed with, in favour of a gradual discovery which can only be obtained by moving through the space.

Statement of the jury

To conceal its actual size, the relatively small flat deliberately cannot be taken in as a whole at a glance. This is achieved by means of furniture that is sculpturally integrated into the room and creates an unusual spatial depth with its geometric and coloured elements. A beautiful design that is functional, yet friendly and modern, promising a comfortable living atmosphere.
