Description

TAKA + PARTNERS took over the refurbishment of a two-storey office building. The layout organisation includes: private offices and accounting unit, conference room, archive room, products sample room and auxiliary rooms. Wood and concrete panelling together with metallic elements compose a functional workspace. The furniture is custom-made, and alternative lighting sources and a skylight set up suitable lighting solutions for working.

Statement of the jury

Clear, elegant proportions combined with concrete, wood and a large glazed area make the two-storey office block look modern and refined both inside and out. What is also remarkable is the consistency when dealing with the wood on the inside, which makes a lovely warm contrast to the concrete and white areas, thus creating a pleasant working atmosphere.
