Dueacca is a new way to perceive and use the “tap” that questions the instrument, its function and its use, rewriting the concept of the hydraulic system to provide a new level of interaction with water. It only has a 50 mm edge length for a small cube in a brass alloy that defines innovation and modularity of a system that allows it to be bent, interpreted, modelled and built to respond flexibly to indoor and outdoor needs.
Statement of the jury
This faucet has an impressively radical, minimalist approach, with an innovative look that sets it apart from traditional faucets. But the pared-down design is motivated by more than just aesthetic considerations: Indeed, it is the minimalism of this product that enables it to adapt more flexibly to its surroundings than almost any other system.
