House Over the Rocks

Description
The house is located in a complex but crucial place: over the rocks to avoid water draining, in a forest glade to receive the sunlight, all while taking in the best views towards the forest and mountains. The house was conceived with reduced bedrooms and spacious public areas. The shelter is laid out in a »Y« shape: north axis, with a master bedroom, west axis, with other rooms and east axis, with living room. Outside, everything is untouched in order to appreciate nature in its pure state.
Statement of the jury
Omitting the room ceilings allows the space to expand up to the heights of the pitched roof, lending the rooms a generous and open appearance, which is further enhanced by the timber cladding used throughout.
