Description

Four boxes of different sizes are arranged both regularly and irregularly, creating a visual connection with the town via the shape. Community housing usually connects with its environs through windows. The position of the windows here softens the privacy aspect by, inviting the occupants to participate in the society outside the walls. The corridors and halls are public, in order to design the relationship between them visually from inside and outside.

Statement of the jury

The design, which consists of four connected cubic structures of varying sizes, presents a modern take on the »city«, which promotes communication through the open character of its interior.
