Katholisch-Soziales Institut Abtei Michaelsberg, Siegburg
Description
The historic Benedictine abbey has been converted into a modern conference venue with careful attention given to materials. The abbey and newly built forum have been blended together using an overarching concept of colour and materials. The floors are predominantly made from natural stone with warm oak used in the windows, doors, floors, handrails and all furnishings. The colour scheme comprises contrasting mustard yellow, oxblood red and midnight blue.
