AOE-Sunac Chongqing one central mansion sales office

Description

We are trying to find a way to research new technology and materials and to tap into the essence of Chinese architectural culture to create a new form of Chinese architecture which is adapted to developments of the modern era, while at the same time restoring Chinese cultural values. Our strategy was to add a further removable green layer to the metal lattice on the outside of building, making it both sustainable and decorative.

Statement of the jury

The net placed in front of the façade softens the rigidly formal structure, lending the building an organic touch.
