Private house, Budakeszi

Description

The building is located in Budakeszi, a green suburb of Budapest. The client wanted a purely modern house on the slope which is in harmony with the surrounding garden. There are three bedrooms, a bathroom, a laundry, a guest room, a shower and a closet to the master bedroom on the first floor, and a huge living room on the ground floor with a separate toilet. From the flat roof, the view can be enjoyed even from the street level. By using white plaster we have created a modern house.

Statement of the jury

The clear cubic form is given a sculptural character through the distinctive cut-out in its foundation. An elegantly-proportioned piece of architecture that gives the building a modern and high-quality aesthetic.
